Imagine the brain could reboot, updating its damaged cells with new, improved units. That may sound like science fiction — but it’s a potential reality scientists are investigating right now. Ralitsa Petrova details the science behind neurogenesis and explains how we might harness it to reverse diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

Muscle and stem cells: Repair after major trauma
When massive injury occurs in the skeletal muscle, for example after a snake bite, muscle stem cells (satellite cells), engage in the regeneration process. Residual debris are removed by the macrophages and new muscle fibers are generated within the collagen matrix of the pre-existing basement membranes.

The brain may be able to repair itself -- with help | Jocelyne Bloch
Through treating everything from strokes to car accident traumas, neurosurgeon Jocelyne Bloch knows the brain's inability to repair itself all too well. But now, she suggests, she and her colleagues may have found the key to neural repair: Doublecortin-positive cells. Similar to stem cells, they are extremely adaptable and, when extracted from a brain, cultured and then re-injected in a lesioned area of the same brain, they can help repair and rebuild it. "With a little help," Bloch says, "the brain may be able to help itself."

Nerve repair: Regeneration in spinal-cord injury
Spinal-cord injuries affect about half a million people each year and can leave patients completely paralysed below the site of injury. Currently, damage to this precious bundle of nerve fibres is irreversible. Researchers are working to understand why the nerves of the central nervous system fail to repair themselves, in the hope of finding ways to reboot the regeneration process.
This animation explores some of the cutting-edge techniques being deployed to boost the spinal cord’s capacity to heal.

YOU ARE MADE MORE THAN 70% Water!!! 75% of Your Body is WATER...
Have you asked yourself if the tons of food supplements you are taking can reach your cells from head to toe ? Or how much money of food supplements it will cost you for the rest of your life ?
WATER THERAPY is one of the greatest way to boost your IMMUNE System but my Question is WHAT KIND Of water are you Drinking???
More than 90% of Drinking water Available today is ACIDIC in pH because they are chemically induced alkaline water or contains chemical components from Plastic containers hence not good for the body.
You NEED to DRINK the HEALTHIEST FUNCTIONAL WATER AVAILABLE Today! Which according to research, scientific study shows the following 3 Unique Properties that should be found in the WATER that we should drink to really give the BEST for our BODY's function.
✅ 1. Anti-oxidant Rich/ Anti-Aging/ Hydrogen Rich water. Powerful Antioxidant (16x powerful than Vitamin C/8x Green Tea). Super rich in antioxidant (active molecular hydrogen),
✅ 2. Alkaline Ionized pH 8.5 to 9.5. Highly alkalyzed due to electrolysis and not chemically induced alkaline water.
✅ 3. Superior Hydrating Micro-clustered water. Hydrates super fast due to its micro clustered (super small) molecules. "Your body can only absorb 15% of tap water, well, spring and bottled waters. Your body can absorb 85%-95% of Kangen Water. Kangen Water is literally 6x more hydrating."
A water that gives you a VERY HIGH Energy source!
The ONLY Medical Grade water APPROVED By the JAPANESE Ministry of HEALTH..
Change your water. Change your life....

The reason a cell can exist if because it is separated from other cells and the environment by a membrane. There’s a plasma membrane which separates it from the outside world and inside the cell, there are little organelles.
Just like our body has organs, our cells have organelles. They all have membranes and the nucleus has a membrane. The mitochondria and the nucleus have double membranes. Keep in mind, membranes are fats and lipids. So, however says you need to be on a low-fat diet never studied biology.
We are making 2 million new cells per second and they need 50% of outside of that membrane to be from fat. We, as humans, are hard wired to regenerate, rejuvenate and procreate. We get cut and we heal. You pick an apple from a tree and next year there are two to three apples.
Our cells don’t spend a lot of time repairing themselves because of a process called apoptosis. This process gobbles up damages non-working cells, recycles the material and makes new cells. Tissues are repairing, cells are replacing.
The greats news is, whatever condition we are in today, can be changed tomorrow. So, how does the body heal itself, naturally would be my answer.

Following his postdoctoral training in 2007, he was appointed as a Senior Research Fellow at the Queensland Brain Institute. Here he established his independent laboratory that focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms that regulate neuronal development, maintenance, and repair. His laboratory has made a number of key discoveries, which have been published in top tier journals, including Nature and Science. Associate Professor Hilliard will discuss recent research developments in axonal repair and how these can contribute to medical advancements, specifically in the context of spinal cord injuries. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
